I've been asked quite a few times on tumblr to make a proper tutorial on how I paint in either of my painting styles, and finally I sat down and did it!
This is the first part of 3 (or maybe only 2-) and this one being on how I go from gray-scale to color.

I like it. never thought about just adding more o-o
I usually just flatten my image, and once I get the colors I like layed out I turn my monitors saturation to 0 and play with all the colors in black and white :3
It can make a cool effect because you blend based off brightness instead of vividness. it's kinda neat :3
